Kozikoglu Partners was founded by Akin Kozikoglu who has more than 15 years of Turkiye focused investment banking experience and took part in landmark deals with a total deal size of US$35bn.

Prior to establishing Kozikoglu Partners, he was a Director of Corporate Finance at the investment banking arm of the most valuable and second largest private bank of Turkiye. Akin began his investment banking career in New York, after completing his graduate studies at Columbia University.
Akin has more than 15 years of investment banking experience and closed US$35bn worth of DCM, ECM and M&A transactions. Some of his notable transactions include acquisition of 50% shares of SEDAS & SEPAS by Torunlar, privatization of Baskentgaz for US$1,162mn, purchase of Engie’s Turkish assets by Palmet, sale of Zorlu Holding’s wind assets, sale of Unimetal, US$551mn rights issue of Tesco Kipa, delisting of Yapi Kredi Sigorta, IPO of Bizim Toptan, Isık Plastik, Baskentgaz and Galata Wind.
Akın earned a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering with distinction from Purdue University and MSc degree from Columbia University in Operations Research.
