Kozikoglu Partners was founded by Akin Kozikoglu who has more than 12 years of Turkey focused investment banking experience and took part in landmark deals with a total deal size of US$35bn.

Prior to establishing Kozikoglu Partners, he was a Director of Corporate Finance at Garanti BBVA Securities. Akın began his investment banking career in New York, after completing his graduate studies at Columbia University.
Akın has 13 years of investment banking experience and closed US$35bn worth of DCM, ECM and M&A transactions. Some of his notable transactions include privatization of Başkentgaz for US$1,162mn, purchase of Engie’s Turkish assets by Palmet, sale of Zorlu Holding’s wind assets, sale of Unimetal, US$551mn rights issue of Tesco Kipa, delisting of Yapi Kredi Sigorta, IPO of Bizim Toptan, Isik Plastik, Baskentgaz and Galata Wind.
Akın earned a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering with distinction from Purdue University and MSc degree from Columbia University in Operations Research.
